Angeline LaVerne Burns, 76, of Kittanning, died Tuesday May 28, 2013, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 22, 1937, in Emlenton, a daughter of the late Norman and Margie Gladys Blymiller-Stover. She attended First Church of God in Kittanning and was a homemaker. Her favorite pastimes were knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her sons, Stephen C. (Rose) Burns and Henry M. Burns, both of Kittanning; grandchildren, Nathan Burns, John Eckman, Erin Claypoole, Angeline Burns and Stephen C. Burns Jr., all of Kittanning, and Trista Burns, of Ford City; great-grandchildren, John Eckman Jr., Jesa Eckman and Benjamin Noah Burns-Fischer; brother-in-law, Charles Burns, of Kittanning; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor D. Burns, Feb. 4, 2004, as well as a great-grandson. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of funeral services at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, with the Rev. Richard Molgaard and Pastor Rosalie Brown co-celebrating. Interment will follow in Kittaning Cemetery.
