Beverly E. “Toots” Miller, 81, of Ford City, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Kittanning Care Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Fordview, to the late Hazel (Brightmeyer) Suran and Clifford Yount.

She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked at Melody Manor in Kittanning, as a nurse’s aide. She also was a homemaker and helped to raise her grandchildren.

Beverly was a member of the Appleby Manor Memorial Church.

Survivors include son, Allan “Tuffy” Miller of Ford City; daughters, Debra (Larry) Flick of Kittanning and Christi (Chris) Fetterman of Ford City; grandsons, Buddy Anthony of Kittanning and Michael Boyer, also of Kittanning; granddaughter, Alyssa Boyer of Chicora; grandsons, Brendan Fetterman of Ford City and Shawn Fetterman, also of Ford City; sisters, Juanita (David) Faulx of Ohio and Carol (Larry) Walbert of Ford City; and brothers, Wayne Yount of Kittanning; Jim Yount of Maryland; and Bill Yount, also of Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Hazel and Red Suran; father and step mother, Clifford and Gertrude Yount; her husband, Eugene R. “Skeeze” Miller, who died March 6, 2017, and whom she married July 3, 1953; and brothers, Clifford Yount and Richard Anthony.

Services are private and are under the care of the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s honor to the Armstrong High School Marching Band, 300 Buffington Drive, Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
