Brian C. Greenawalt, 55, of Templeton, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2018. He was born Feb. 17, 1962, to the late Arthur E. and Alice (Klingensmith) Greenawalt. He was a member of Pine Creek Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with Denny and Tim in Sheffield, and he liked watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. Brian also enjoyed westerns, MASH, and word search books. He loved his special puppy, Holly. Survivors include his wife, Nancy E. (Cloak) Greenawalt, whom he married Aug. 15, 1992; daughter, Rachel Bowser and husband, Seth; son, Tim Greenawalt; unborn grandson, Silas Bowser; brother, Dennis W. Greenawalt; mother-in-law, Etta A. (Cloak) Fox; sister-in-law, Lisa A. (Cloak) Slagle and husband Earl, Jr.; brother-in-law, William M. Cloak and wife Connie S. (Blair); sister-in-law, Amy (Cloak) Crissman and husband, Travis; sister-in-law, Dorothy J. Greenawalt; nieces and nephews, Kenny, Connie, April, Matt, Mike, Steven, Justin, Sara, Faith, and Katie; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kent E. Greenawalt; father-in-law, Jack N. Cloak; and great-nephew, Zebulin T. Greenawalt. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Grimm officiating. Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brian’s honor to the Pine Creek Sportsman’s Club.
