It was my great honor and privilege to be a friend, colleague, and neighbor to Carolyn during her years of teaching at Washington Bible College. Carolyn was a true and genuine follower of Jesus Christ. She consistently demonstrated this in her words and actions. She and her husband Carl's generosity helped me and my wife to get started as a young married couple. As an experienced educator, she was an influential mentor to me early in my career. I will never forget our conversations and prayer times related to our mutual efforts to do the work of God's kingdom. I will always remember her kindness to me and will look forward to enjoying friendship together forever in heaven with our Savior!
