Christine Joy D'Andrea-Gehm, 69, traded in this world of pain for her well-deserved Angel's wings on Wednesday. She was surrounded by her loving family after courageously battling cancer.
She was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Pittsburgh, to Dorothy Fisher and Chester Daywalt.
Christine loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to the movies with friends and decorating for the holidays. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
Christine was an active member of McKee Chapel in Fenelton. Christine worked as a dedicated and caring home health aide for many years. She was also the owner of The Vittle Village in Fenelton.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Joshua Rodgers and his wife, Tiffanie, Trista Rodgers and Andrew Begle; her great-grandchildren, Noah Hooks, and Devin and Lyla Rodgers, were the loves of her life.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Chrissy (Brian) Coyle, Lisa (Rusty) Begley and Lorrie (Richard) Barkley.
D'ANDREA-GEHM - A memorial service for Christine Joy D'Andrea-Gehm, who died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at McKee Chapel in Fenelton, followed by a luncheon from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Happy Hunters in Fenelton.
Arrangements were entrusted to F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington.
