Connie S. Weigel, 65, of New Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, in her home.

She was born on March 6, 1951, in New Brighton to Donald R. and Edith (Preston) Weigel. Connie was a lifetime resident of the area and worked for 26 years for Sears in their Customer Service Department and also worked for many years with The Housing Authority of Beaver County where she managed senior buildings and housing communities in Monaca. Connie was also a dedicated caregiver to her mother.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, J. Quent (Andrea) Weigel of New York; special grandson, Carter, who loved his "Gigi" very much; her mother, Edith Weigel of Chippewa Twp.; two sisters, Donna Watson of New York and Edith (Alan) Thomas of Kittanning, PA; two nieces, Missy Herdt of New York and Jennifer (Bob) Bellas of Kittanning, PA; nephew, Thomas Hartman of Odessa, Texas; three great-nephews, Michael Losavio, Preston Bellas and Porter Bellas, and a great-niece, Payton Bellas.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Donald Weigel, who died in 2013.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A private family burial will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
