Cynthia L. (Vensel) Duncan, 68, of Ford City died Monday, June 26, 2017, at ACMH Hospital.  She was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Kittanning. Cindy was the owner and operator of the former Duncan Daycare.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints as well as Kittanning Hose Co. 6 Auxiliary and the Cowansville American Legion Auxiliary.  Cindy enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and playing cards.  Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 27 years, Ryan Duncan; daughter, Kathleen Clark; grandson, Jamison Seifert; granddaughter, Baylee Shondelmyer; and sisters, Janet Schuey, Mary Ann Goddard, Jane (Bill) Boarts, and Laurie (James) Shannon.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Vensel; her mother, M. Kathleen (Thompson) McAuley and her husband David McAuley, who raised her; two infant sons, James and David; nephew, James Schuey; and brothers-in-law, James Schuey and Billy Goddard.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning with the Rev. Dr. Murray Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Cindy’s memory to the Richard G. Laube Cancer Center, 1 Nolte Drive, Kittanning, Pa. 16201 with checks made out to ACMH Foundation with Cancer Center Assistance Fund in the memo portion.
