Edith M. (Dickey) Remaley, 81, of North Buffalo Township died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, with her family by her side.  She was born on Oct. 16, 1935, in Armstrong County to the late Ezra and Ora (Knepshield) Dickey.  Edith was a mail carrier for many years and was a Presbyterian by faith. She took great joy in traveling and sightseeing.  Edith will be greatly missed by her husband of 23 years, Ralph P. Remaley; daughters, Sherry (Livengood) White and Peggy (Livengood) Pacek; sons, Randy Livengood, Terry Livengood and wife, Susan, Mitchell Livengood and wife, Darla, Mark Livengood, Timmy Livengood; stepdaughters, Sandy Shields and Diane Smith; stepson, Ralph “Skip” Remaley; stepdaughter, Carol Smith; nine grandchildren, Brenda (Livengood) Hildebrand and husband, Shawn, Brandy (Livengood) Martz and husband, Robert, Laken (Livengood) Ingram and husband, Benjamin, Jennifer (Livengood) Smith and husband, Craig, Melinda Livengood, Erica Livengood, Brittany Livengood, Jason Livengood and wife, Kayla, Katie Livengood; 10 step-grandchildren, Craig Smith, Marcie Smith, Kevin Smith, Brian Smith, Erin Remaley, Jason Smith, Brad Shields, Sherry Shearer, Mark Shields, Paul Shields; and several great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Wanda, Doris, and Betty; and one brother, Mike.  Edith was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Linford Livengood, 2nd husband, Arthur Crissman, and two brothers, Ted and Jim.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
