Elsie Jean (Fox) Forringer, 82, of Kittanning, was called home to be with her husband of 60 years on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, in Sugar Creek Rest.  She was born on Oct. 17, 1935, in Scrubgrass Templeton, to the late Howard and Emma (Kline) Fox.  Mrs. Forringer was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, camping, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Elsie leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Roxanne (Tim) Futscher of Kittanning; granddaughter, Halie Futscher of Kittanning; grandson, TJ Futscher of Kittanning; great-granddaughters, Laynie Futscher of Kittanning and Adilynn Milliken of Worthington; brothers, Jack (June) Fox of Kittanning and Joe (Jan) Fox of Kittanning; sister, Barbara (Fox) Roseboom of Ohio; sister, Betty (Fox) Wilson of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Forringer; infant daughter, Carol Ann; and brother, Vernon Fox.  Per Mrs. Forringer’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
