Ethel M. Lasher, 90, of Adrian, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility.

She was born Feb. 18, 1927, to the late James and Verda (Fair) Lasher.

She attended Thiel College and was retired from Alltel in Kittanning.

Ethel was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian.

She loved flowers and cats.

Survivors include great nieces, Valerie (Mark) Raymond of Orlando, Fla., and Kay (Bill) Watkins of Montrose, Pa.; cousins, Dale (Jean) Lasher of Kittanning, Cheri (Mike) Choncek of Adrian, and Veryl (Dianna) Wolfe, of Kittanning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clair and Ransome Lasher; and niece, Beverly Fisk.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barb, who was her caregiver for 10 years, and the caring nurses at Three Rivers Hospice.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian, with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ethel’s honor can be made to Orphans of the Storm, P.O. Box 383, Kittanning, Pa., 16201.
