Findley Russell Neale, 85, of Girard, Ohio, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at home. He was born on Feb. 23, 1932, in Redbank Township, to the late Turney Clark Neale and Anna Elizabeth (Cornman) Wagner. He worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, LTV, and was a groundskeeper. He previously attended the Lutheran Church in Eddyville, Pa., and liked gardening. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Joan (Bowser) Neale; sons, Russell Dee (Lisa Ann) Neale of Hubbard, Ohio; Turney Clark Neale of Girard; and Michael Lee Neale of Claremont, N.C.; grandson, Kevin Russell Neale; and granddaughter, Aubree Elise Neale. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Goldie Cessna, Anna Mae Vitaliani, Mary Schrecengost, Laura Bell Huffman, and Cynthia Weadock; and brothers, Elmer Neale and Luther Neale. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. Additional viewing will be held from 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Gale Winning officiating. Interment will be in the Neale Cemetery.
