Frieda Arlene (Olinger) Tregaskes, 78, of Templeton died Thursday, July 28, 2016 inACMH Hospital.

She was born Oct. 25, 1937 in Kittanning to Clifford and Frieda E. (Flanders) Olinger.

Frieda was a retired registered nurse.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kittanning.

She was commander of LAMOPH, where she helped start the chapter, and was president of DAV Ladies Auxiliary and dedicated years of service to our veterans and their families.

Survivors include her children, Mary B. Deanna, Frederick J. Jr., Hannah, Kimberly, Jonathan, and Patricia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she loved very much. One brother, William Olinger, also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick J. Tregaskes; and one brother, John Olinger.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 1 P.M Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 218 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, until time of services at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Mateer Cemetery.
