Geraldine M. ‘Gerri’ Hindman, 70, of Kittanning died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at ACMH Hospital.  She was born on Nov. 9, 1946, in Kittanning to the late James and Margaret ‘Peg’ (McAllister) Hindman.  Gerri was employed as the treasurer of the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter.  She formerly attended the Wattersonville Methodist Church.  Gerri loved her dogs and cats, and was on the board of the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter for many years. She also loved to swim, going to the beach, and taking car rides to anywhere.  Survivors include one niece, Sheena Hindman of Kittanning; two great-nieces, Jacey and Samantha Hindman of Kittanning; and one sister-in-law, LeAnn Hindman of Kittanning.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Fred and Bill Hindman.  Services will be private and are under the care of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geraldine’s honor to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, PO Box 838, Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
