Grace Julia (Giff) Edgington, 92, of Worthington died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at home.  She was born March 31, 1925, in Worthington to the late James and Florence (Smith) Giff.  She was employed by Aluminum Ladder, Union Supply Store, and Moonlight Mushroom Mines.  Grace was a member of the Bethel Baptist Bible Church in Worthington.  Grace was a loving mother and grandmother. Her life stands as an inspiration to all.  Survivors include daughters, Sandra (Jonathan) Minteer of Worthington and Karen (Larry) Eckman of Apollo; son, Thomas (Susan) Edgington of Cowansville; grandchildren, Amy Conaway and Jonathan Minteer Jr., both of Worthington; Jody Minteer of Cheswick; Mike and Larry Eckman, both of Apollo; Brad and Kristen Edgington, both of Cowansville; great-grandchildren, Riley Daniels, Nathan Donahue, Kayleigh and Eli Conaway, Delaney and Gillian Minteer, Cateria, Lauren, Michael Eckman, and Rita Grace Eckman; and step-great-grandchildren, Faith Skowronek and Dakoda Allman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur M. Edgington; and brothers, George and Louie Giff.  As per Grace’s request there will not be a viewing. Memorial gifts can be sent to Bethel Baptist Bible Church, PO Box 910 Worthington, Pa. 16262. In honor of Grace’s life there will be a memorial service on May 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Bible Baptist Church, 546 Airport Road, Worthington with Pastor Nathan Bramlet officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
