Hannelore Elvira “Honey” (Reider) Floyd, 68, of Templeton passed into the Lord’s kingdom on Friday, April 28, 2017.  She was born April 28, 1949, in Landshut, Germany, where she met and married her beloved late husband, Earle “Bud” Floyd.  Hannelore loved her cats and dogs. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed by Armstrong County Memorial Hospital for 23 years.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.  Hannelore is survived by son, Robert Earl Floyd and his wife, Susan; granddaughters, Jessica Hunia, April Smith, and Rebecca Floyd; grandson, Robert E. Floyd and his wife, Payton, of Norfolk, Va.; brother-in-law, Leonard Cochran and his wife, Nancy; and she will be sadly missed by her nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning and from noon until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Hannelore’s memory to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 838, Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
