Hayden William Klingler Sr., age 72, of West Kittanning died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at his residence.

He was born on Oct. 29, 1944, in New Castle, Delaware to Hayden Fred Klingler and Mildred Knight.

Hayden was a retired handyman and was also a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles, Men’s Club, American Legion, and the Moose.

Mr. Klingler was also a DJ and collector.

He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Connie Klingler; son, Hayden Klingler Jr.; daughter, Marlett Hoffner; daughter in law, Katrina Klingler; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister; and four brothers.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Hayden on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning with his grandson, Steven Klingler, officiating.
