Janet Delores (Ball) Stover, 85, of Kittanning, died Friday Sept. 1, 2017, at the Armstrong County Health Center.

She was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Rural Valley to the late Richard and Beulah (Jewel) Ball and lived in the area for over 60 years.

She cleaned offices for Stulls.

Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on the porch in the summer, shopping, and going out to eat.

She is survived by: a daughter, Marion Bennett of Kittanning; two sons: James (Barb Szarejko) Stover of West Mifflin, and William (Barb) Stover of Kittanning; grandchildren Joe, Shawn, Maria, Jimbo, Aiden, Keith, Mike, Billy, Danni and Jenna; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters: Beverly Yount and Margaret (William) Beers; and a brother: Francis (Snooky) Ball.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, James Stover; a son: Keith Stover; a granddaughter: Lisa Stover; three sisters: Louella Grey, Marion Yancik and Winifred Marsh; and two brothers: Robert and Richard Ball.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 North Grant Avenue, Kittanning. No funeral service will be held. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
