Jody Shankle, 75, of West Kittanning died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 in Sugarcreek Rest in Worthington.  She was born Sept. 13, 1940 to Robert G. and Lucille K. (Farester) Anthony.  Jody, formerly, worked at G.C. Murphy’s and was a homemaker.  A member of the West Kittanning Grace Brethren Church, she loved her family and animals.  Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Hayes C. Shankle; children, Joel Shankle, Cindy (John J.) Cousins, Jeffrey (Zesta) Shankle, and Gregory Shankle; granddaughters, Devin and McKenna; grandsons, Richard (Hannah), Andrew, Riley, Kody; brother, Larry (Diane) Anthony; dog, “Pumpkin”; and cat, “Tigger.”  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning until the time of funeral services at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Edwards officiating. Interment will be in West Kittanning Grace Brethren Church Cemetery.
