Karen V. Scadden, 72, of Kittanning, died on Saturday Sept. 30, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  She was born on Sept. 23, 1945, in Kittanning, Pa., to the late Joseph & Florence Langham.  Karen was retired from family counseling and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Kittanning.  She enjoyed spending time under her tree with her family and great grandchildren.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Harry Scadden of Kittanning; a daughter, Terri Scadden of Kittanning; a sister, Diane Larimer of Youngsville, Pa.; a granddaughter, Megan Gibson; great grandchildren, Jase & Aubree; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Karen was preceded in death by brothers Joseph & Larry Langham, and a sister, Louise Johns.  At the wishes of Karen there will be no services or viewing.
