Kay D. (Peters) Swartz, 65, of Kittanning died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at ACMH Hospital.  She was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Kittanning to the late Denton and Rosella (Cornman) Peters.  Kay was a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning.  She liked reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Madison and Kynzie.  Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jon Swartz of Kittanning; daughters, Hope (Christopher) Pisor of Kittanning and Julie Swartz (fiancé David Bruce) of Kittanning; two granddaughters, Madison Kay and Kynzie Rosel Pisor; dear sister, Nancy Peters of Kittanning; sister, Rosalie (Dave) Hewitt of Templeton; brother, James (Cindy) Peters of Kittanning; loving niece, Melissa (Erin) Zahradnik of NuMine; great-nephew and great-niece, Zachery and Kylie Zahradnik; and several other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery in Cowanshannock.
