Lorana Jane (Kirkbride) Hamilton, 74, of Kittanning died Thursday March 9, 2017, at her home with family.  She was born Oct. 23, 1942, in Pittsburgh to the late James and Rebecca (King) Kirkbride.  Lorana worked as a CNA in home healthcare and attended Faith Presbyterian Church. She loved all animals, but mostly cats. She loved spending time with family and friends and she liked watching television shows, especially Law and Order and soaps.  She will be loved and missed by her long term love, James E. Hamilton; daughter, Rebecca Walter and her husband, Josh; step daughter, Deborah Renwick and her husband, Albert; step sons, Jon Hamilton, Dan Hamilton, and Jim Hamilton; granddaughters, Alexia Wills, Athena Freedline, Aundrea Clows, Aylissa Wills, Mia Martin; grandson, Joshua Walter; 15 step grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one grandson.  A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 150 East Brady Road in East Franklin with the Rev. Kathleen Davis officiating.
