Martha A. “Marti” Patton, 82, of Slate Lick died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1935, in Worthington to the late Clark and Emma (Powell) Bowser. Mrs. Patton formerly worked at Dlubak. Martha was also a member of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church and served as Judge of Elections for South Buffalo Township West. She enjoyed the monthly breakfasts at Kings with other Worthington High School alumni, going to the Ford City Senior Center with her sister-in-law, Dorothy Neal, and spending time with family, especially enjoying family reunions. She will be forever missed and remembered by her children: Clark (Robin) Patton of Johnstown, Ohio; Dan (Sheri) Patton of Slate Lick; Ruth (Terry) Bowser of Boggsville; grandchildren, Tim Patton, Josh (Kristen) Patton, Ryan (Jami) Patton, Katie Patton, Kara (Jon Luke) Patton Varner, Carl (Kristin) Bowser, Zane Bowser, and Michaela Bowser; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Hannah Patton, Emma and Lauren Patton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Patton, who died Dec. 21, 1994; three sisters; and seven brothers. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 8, 2017, in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 10 a.m. in the funeral home until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
