Mary C. (Schaffhauser) Wendell, 97, of Manorville, passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Kittanning Care Center.  She was born September 18, 1918 to the late George and Catherine (Mushlbauer) Schaffhauser.  Mary worked as a homemaker all of her life.  She was a member of Manorville United Methodist Church.  Survivors include one son, Joseph (Joyce) Wendell of Pennsylvania; one daughter-in-law, Marge Wendell of New York; two granddaughters, Mary Jane (Thomas) Hollobaugh of Ohio and Karen Collison of New York; two grandsons, Robert Wendell of New York and Andrew (Megan) Wendell of Virginia; three great-grandchildren, John (Noel) Toy of Templeton, Heather Toy of Ohio, and Olivia Collison of New York; and six great-greatgrandsons, Lucas and Dylon Toy of Youngstown, Ayden, David, Erik, and Skyler Toy of Templeton.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Wendell Sr.; two sons, Walter Wendell Jr. and Raymond Wendell; one daughter-in-law, Grace Wendell; three brothers, Louis, Benedict, and Martin; and two sisters, Ann Falvo and Gertrude Damore.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
