Oh my gosh, Linda. I am so, so sorry about the passing of your treasured son. I remember how you beamed with pride when you talked about Matt, and especially his soaring musical ability. May your treasured memories of him sustain you in the coming days, weeks and months.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Again, I am just in shock and feel horrible for you, David and Carla.

Dear Linda and Dave: I am so sorry to read about Matthew's passing and you have my deepest sympathies. I was away for the holiday and didn't get home until late on the fourth when I saw his obituary in the paper. Linda, I remember how you comforted me when I lost my son at an early age and if I can do anything for you please just ask. No one should have to bury their child and go through the rest of their lives with just the memories. Sending love and prayers . . . KC

We're very sorry to hear of the death of this young man in his prime. Our sympathies to the family. Although we did not know Matt personally, we were well acquainted with the John McCue family and all of their sons. Special condolences to our old friends.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Matt's passing. He brought so much joy to us at St. Anne. I joined the handbell choir in 2002, enjoying years of beautiful music under his expert leadership. Everyone in the choirs and all of St. Anne are heartbroken at this loss. I send my condolences to the family and wish peace to all. Matt was an extraordinary person and outstanding musician.

Matt's passing has left a huge hole in all of our hearts. He was so dedicated to music and was the most brilliant music person I have ever met. He truly had a gift that most people don't have. One of his beautiful talents was to bring out the best of all of us as we sang or played bells. Just when you thought you couldn't do it, he pulled it out of you! It's hard to understand why the Lord had to call him home when He did. The only thing I can think of is that the angels needed some help in perfecting their song and Matt was called to do it. Eternal rest to him as he is engulfed in the arms of our Lord, Jesus. hugs, love and prayers

Matt was a gifted musician whose talent brought song into the hearts of those whom he directed in the choir at St. Anne Catholic Community in Houston. His direction of the Bell Choir also lifted to heaven the sounds of praise and he can only be welcomed at the Banquet Table of the LORD with "well done, good and faithful servant."

I only knew Matt the years that we were in band during Armstrong Central.
I remember him always laughing and with a smile on his face. He was a wonderful person.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me at mworzbyt@gmail.com
