Mona LaRue (Johnston) Kregiel, 63, of New Kensington, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 27, 2017, at her home. She was born June 27, 1953, in Natrona Heights, the youngest child of Joseph and Frances (McHenry) Johnston. She liked reading and crossword puzzles. Left to cherish Mona's memory are her sister, Connie K. (Melvin) Moody, of Harrisburg; brother, Richard T. (Grace) Johnston, of Port Wentworth, Ga.; sister-in-law, Beverly Johnston, of Butler; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Kregiel; and two brothers, Robert P. Johnston, and Joseph H. Johnston. Services will be private, and arrangements are entrusted to the KENNEDY AND BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning
