Olive Constance “Connie” (Hill) McCall, 88, of Ford City died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at the ACMM Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1928, in Home to the late David Rowland and Hannah Dovie (Neal) Hill.
She married her husband, Carl A. McCall, on April 15, 1948.
Connie was a member of the West Kittanning Grace Brethren Church, where she taught the Good News Club, Sunday school, and ladies Bible studies.
She enjoyed making dolls, and stuffed animals, cooking, sewing, and writing.
Survivors include daughter, Susan Tarr and husband, Raymond, of Kittanning; daughter, Marcia McCall of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Dr. Larry E. McCall and wife, Gladine, of Warsaw, Ind.; daughter, Bonnie Wingard and husband, John, of Kittanning; son, Stephen P. McCall and wife, Renee, of Fort Wayne; foster daughter, Sandra Shaner; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold K. Hill of Washington, Pa.; sister, Vida Holt of Middleburg, Pa. and brother, David W. Hill of Lancaster.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl A. McCall, who passed away on Sept. 7, 2010; and sisters, Miriam H. Ross, Florence L. Painter, and Winifred Pontius.
Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the West Kittanning Grace Brethren Church, where there will be an additional hour of visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Her son, Dr. Larry McCall, and the Rev. Larry Edwards will be officiating. Interment will be in the Croyle Cemetery in Adrian.
