Patsy L. Rupert, 84, of Manor Township, Kittanning, died on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was born on June 18, 1932, in Rayburn Township to the late Theodore W. and Hazel Marie (Gray) Cornman.  Patsy married Wendell L. Rupert on March 25, 1951. She was a retired school teacher at Lenape Elementary School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning and she was a 50- year member of the Kittanning Chapter #277 Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a Past Matron and Past Deputy Grand Matron. Patsy also was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa sorority, serving as Past President and Charter Member of the local chapter. She also served as a board member for the Family Counseling Center of Armstrong County.  She enjoyed playing golf at Kittanning Country Club, volunteering at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, and being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survivors include two sons, Michael (Kathleen) Rupert of Wake Forest, North Carolina and Terry (Ginger) Rupert of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brenna (Cory) Chapman, Heath (Elizabeth) Rupert, Tyce Rupert, Samantha Rupert, Zachary (Samantha) Rupert, and Alexandra Raborn; four great-grandchildren, Greer Rupert, Ava Rupert, Marcus Maxson, and Wesley Rupert; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Ronald.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, with an Order of the Eastern Star memorial service held at 7 p.m. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lonnie E. Long officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Patsy’s honor to the American Heart Association, P.O.
