Russell B. Smith Jr., 59, of Worthington died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, died at home.  He was born Dec. 17, 1957, in Kittanning to Russell Sr. and Beverly (Bevington) Smith.  He retired after 33 years as a custodian at the United States Post Office in Kittanning.  Russell formerly attended the Brethren in Christ Church in Adrian.  He liked watching wrestling and The Three Stooges.  Survivors include his mother, of Worthington; sister, Jacqueline (William) Grates of Worthington; brother, Bill Smith of Meadville; sister, Pam Heberle of Natrona Heights; sister, Bonnie Sue Cravenor of North Beach, Maryland; six nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father; and one nephew.  Friends will be received from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant St., Kittanning with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating.
