Sally Elizabeth (Smith) Julius, 74, of Worthington died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at ACMH Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1943, in Kittanning to the late Joseph and Ethel (Mc- Cracken) Smith and was a lifelong resident of the community.

She was a retired housekeeper at ACMH Hospital and a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Parish and the Worthington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Sally enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.

Left to cherish her memory, her husband, Paul Angelo “Babe” Julius Sr. ; son, Paul Jr. (Lisa) Julius of Wexford; daughters, Susan (Thad) Buffington of Worthington; Chris (Glen) Critchlow of Saxonburg; Paula (Craig) Brady of Butler; son, Rick Julius of Fenelton; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale, Jack, Jim, Joe, Ed, Mick, and Jay Smith; sisters, Betty Emminger and Marge Barnett; and daughter-in-law, Vivien (Brice) Julius.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Grote officiating. Interment will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sally’s memory can be made to the Richard G. Laube Cancer Center, 1 Nolte Drive, Kittanning with checks made out to ACMH Foundation with Cancer Center Assistance Fund in the memo portion.
