Sarah Ruth (Booher) Stover, 68, of Worthington, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Kittanning Care Center. She was born May 14, 1949, in Kittanning, to the late Walter Mechling and Dora (Booher) Shields. Sarah was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, crochet, and baking. Left behind to cherish her memory is her ex-husband, Ted Stover, of Worthington; daughters, Tracey (Joe) Wolfe-Archibald, of Kittanning and Jill (Mark) Stover-Palmer, of Worthington; grandchildren, Cody Palmer, of Pittsburgh, Skyler Archibald, Tianna Archibald, and Shauna Archibald, all of Kittanning; great granddaughter, Alaina Baker, of Kittanning; brothers, Walter “Butch” Mechling, of Kittanning, Larry Booher, of Kittanning, and Michael Booher, of Kittanning. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Evelyn Jean John, Dennise Kay Shields, and Della May Shields. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. Additional visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
