Veda Fay (Heilman) Kunkle, 42, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1975, in Kittanning, to Roy and Sherry (Cousins) Heilman.

Veda was a caregiver and she attended North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church.

She enjoyed camping.

Veda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband and best friend, Curtis Askins; sons, Austin Kunkle and Kenny Kunkle; sister, Lisa Waldor; brother, Shawn Heilman; mother, Sherry Heilman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Heilman.

Family and friends will be received in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, from noon-3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Rose officiating.
