Violet (Iseman) Croyle, 88, of Kittanning, died Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1925, in the Ford City Area, daughter of Michael and Ellamae (Gamble) Iseman. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking and was a country music fan. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Bowser (Daniel), of Kittanning, Katherine Goedicke (Howard), of Kittanning, and Rose Cravener, of Ford City; three grandsons, William Patton, of South Carolina, James Patton, of North Carolina, and Howard Goedicke Jr., of Adrian; three great-grandchildren, Jaycee Patton, Gordon Patton and Rhianna Patton; two brothers, Merle Gamble (Nellie), of Brackenridge, and Raymond Gamble, of Louisiana; and one sister, Margaret Lardin (Paul), of Shelocta. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Merle Iseman; her second husband, Edward Croyle; her granddaughter, Mary Alice Wingard; and her brothers, Jess, Frank, Bob, Bill, John and George Gamble. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUENRAL HOME in Kittanning. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Ford City Cemetery.
