William R. Sikora, 80, of Worthington, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. Born Jan. 8, 1935, in Freeport, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna (Witek) Sikora. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Cadogan. He retired from Pullman-Standard/Trinity Industries in Butler. He was an Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of Buffalo Valley Beagle and Sportsman Club and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 896 in Kittanning and FOE 88 in Ford City and the Latin American Club in Ford City. Mr. Sikora enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and his friends of all ages. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jean Sikora; four brothers and five sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Blackwell (husband, Robert), of Pickerington, Ohio; a son, William C. Sikora (wife, Cheryl), of Groveport, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeanna Feyh (husband, Ryan), Derek Blackwell, Heather Blackwell, Billy Sikora Jr. and Chloe Sikora; sister, Agnes Farster, of Altoona; several sisters- and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many friends, who called him Uncle Bill. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Worthington. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Father Alan Grote officiating. Interment in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
