William Jesse “Bill” Murawski, 55, of Ford City died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at ACMH Hospital in East Franklin.  He was born Oct. 28, 1960 in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Mary (Butt) Murawski, who later divorced. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Michael Brumbaugh.  Bill was employed at the Continental Clay Co. in Kittanning. Although the plant no longer produced bricks, he and his co-worker, Dick Crawford, maintained the plant for the owner.  His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing, which he enjoyed with his late stepfather, brothers, and friends. He also loved mowing grass and shoveling snow. Bill enjoyed socializing with any and everybody. It would be hard to find anyone who disliked him. He was known by his neighbors as “Bill on the Hill.”  For most of his life, he was a resident of the Kittanning and Ford City area.  Survivors include two daughters, Tara Murawski of Kentucky and Lindsay (Murawski) Zook of New York; one granddaughter; six brothers and sisters, Frankie (Kathy) Murawski of Philadelphia, Cathy Cravener of Pittsburgh, Betty (John) Stewart of Iowa, Marty (Lisa) Murawski and Melissa Hetrick, all of Kittanning, and Stephen (Sarah) Murawski of New Jersey; 13 nieces and nephews, Betty Jean, Heather, Justin, Jesse, Angel, Andrea, Anthony, Alisha, Ryan, Brandon, Michelle, Hannah, and Olivia; six great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden, Adeline, Ryan, Gavin, Trevor, and Alexia; and ex-wife and close friend, Deborah (Philip) Ramstad of Ford City.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather; one brother, James Murawski; and one niece, Michelle Brumbaugh.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Philip S. Ramstad officiating. Interment will be in the United Rockville Lutheran Church Cemetery.
