Ardell Louise (Boarts) Adams

Ardell Louise (Boarts) Adams, 81, of Kittanning, passed away Thursday April 11, 2024 at UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born January 31, 1943 in Kittanning to the late Ray Boarts and June (Schrecengost) Kunkle.  Ardell was a homemaker and attended the Valier United Methodist Church. She liked camping, mowing the grass, and taking care of her pets, Sammy her dog and Molly her cat. She loved spending time with and FaceTiming her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert E. Adams of Kittanning; sons Robert Adams and fiancé Amanda Peace of Ford City and Jeff (Denise) Adams of Kittanning; daughter Jackie (Scott) Erdley of Kittanning; grandchildren Justin (Shauna) Erdley, Jessica (Dylan) Stitt, Shelby Adams, Colton Adams and companion Bri, and Logan (Kristy) Adams; great-grandchildren Deven Erdley, Madelyn Erdley, Ethan Stitt, and Caleb Erdley; brother Jerry (Carol) Boarts; sister LaWanna Rehak; sister in law Patty Pistininzi; care taker Nancy; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; step father Clarence Kunkle; brother Donald Boarts; brother Richard "Herschel" Boarts.

Friends will be received on Monday April 15, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April, 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment is in Kittanning Cemetery.
