Owen Dean Crissman, 87, of Andover, Ohio, formerly of Adrian, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1937 in Adrian, the son of Edward and Verdie (Akins) Crissman. Owen retired at age 74 as a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his son, Robert Crissman, of Polk, Pa.; sister, Loretta Kepple; daughter-in-law, Debbie Crissman, of Clintonville, Pa.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Owen was preceded in death by his wife, Glee Y. (Lemmon) Crissman; son Thomas Crissman; great grandson; siblings, Allen Crissman, Phyllis Bish and Nancy Gray.
Family and friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Rd., Cowansville, Pa. Additional visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 280 St. Marks Rd., Adrian, Pa. with funeral service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Vatalare officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
