Alberta Mae (Davidson) Lemmon, 82, of Kittanning, died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 24, 1935, in NuMine, to the late Alex and Ella (Lamison) Davidson. Alberta was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kittanning. Her other memberships included the Red Hats Society and the Slimettes. Mrs. Lemmon enjoyed sewing. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Dave (Amy) Lemmon of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jack Lemmon, Jr. and Kaela Brennan of St. Paul, Minn.; grandsons, Aaron (Elizabeth) Lemmon of Pittsboro, N.C. and Arik (Kaylie) Lemmon of Shelby, N.C.; granddaughters, Kathleen and Molly Lemmon of St. Paul; great-granddaughter, Abigail Lemmon of Pittsboro; great-grandson, Elijah Lemmon of Pittsboro; great-granddaughter, Kate Lemmon of Shelby, N.C.; great-grandson, Andrew Lemmon of Shelby; brother, Alex Davidson, Jr. of Rural Valley; sister, Deloris Arduini of Rural Valley; brother, Grant (Kay) Davidson of Rural Valley; great-niece, Wendy (Emigh) Solada and husband, Lee, of Sarver, and their sons, Steven and Matthew; and also survived by several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lemmon; sister, Anna Mary Hooks; and brother, Jack Davidson. Family and friends will be received on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional viewing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 218 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery in Rayburn Township.
