Allen Edward Myers, 58, of Cowansville, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at West Penn Hospital. He was born July 1, 1959, in Kittanning, to Mervin A. and Celia M. (Toy) Myers. He worked at Agway, among other places, and he liked traveling. Survivors include his parents; sons, Christopher Myers and girlfriend, Catheryn, of Rural Valley, and Philip A. Myers and girlfriend, Jennifer, of Butler; brothers, LeRoy (Carol) Myers, of Cowansville, Ricky (Robin) Myers, of Kittanning, Barry Myers, of Michigan, Robert Myers and girlfriend, Lorie, of Kittanning, and Adam (Vicki) Myers, of Worthington; sisters, Brenda Black, of Cowansville, and Joy (Matt) Bowser, of Cowansville; grandchildren, Leighton, Kiera, Trinity, Chloe, Taylor, Makenzie, Emma, and Bentley; and several nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Katheryn Myers; grandson, Tyler Goldstrom Myers; and grandparents. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Molgaard officiating. Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
