Beverly J. Long, 77, of Worthington, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at ACMH Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born at home in Fawn Township, June 27, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Daisy Alberta and Luis Dunn. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George D. Long of 49 years, who passed away Sept. 13, 2007; three brothers; and four sisters. Beverly is survived by her three children, Tammy L. (Long) Johns, husband, Jeffrey Johns; Jeffrey A. Long, wife, Korrine (Keener) Long; Lori A. Hoffman, husband, Roger Hoffman; seven grandchildren, Shannon N. (Johns) Cornetti, husband, Derick Cornetti; Sheena N. (Johns) Ditmore, husband, Jud Ditmore; Robert Long, Zach Long, Lindsay Long, Carly Hoffman, and Logan Hoffman; and one great-grandchild, Dennon C. Cornetti. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Dunn of Kittanning, three sisters, Judy Westerman of Natrona Heights, Shirley Edwards of Kittanning, and Lois Reigard of Coos Bay, Ore., as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was formerly employed at Armstrong Memorial Hospital for 21 years. She enjoyed her flower gardens, puzzles, decorating for the holidays, cooking and baking for the family and especially her grandchildren. She was known for her potato salad. She was a member of the Furnace Run Chapel. She will be laid to rest privately at Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements have been entrusted to the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington.
