Blair Ray Turney, 82, of Worthington, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Rivercliff Terrace Annex.
He was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Kittanning, to the late Truby and Helen (Rupert) Turney.
Blair worked for the Ironworkers No. 3 in Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Buffalo Valley Beagle Club, Buffalo Sportsman’s Club, and Pony Farm Trap and Gun Club of Kittanning. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent at his Forest County cabin with family and friends.
Survivors include his son Daniel Lee Turney and wife Donna of Pa., son Blair Michael Turney and wife Kathleen Fairchild of Georgia, granddaughter Lee Anne Barrett and husband David of Pa., grandson Jacob Andrew Turney and wife Genesis of Pa., great-grandchildren Daniel, Madelynn, and Carson Barrett, and Bryce and Brooke Turney, all of Pa., and his brother Lanny Turney and wife Jean of Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents Truby and Helen Turney.
Friends will be received, on Monday, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home at 200 S. McKean St. in Kittanning from 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11 a.m., with additional visitation from 10 a.m., until the time of the service with Rev. Mark Brady officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
