Catherine H. Loughrey

Catherine H. Loughrey, 75, of Kittanning, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility.  Born in Kittanning on March 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Dorothy Skursky.  Cathy was a homemaker.  She dedicated her life to family.  Cathy loved to read, cook, and spend time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.  She was an amazing, loving woman.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of nearly 60 years, Gary C. Loughrey; children, Brenda Maye Loughrey, of Pittsburgh, Gary Wayne Loughrey (Cindy), of Kittanning, Diana Marie French (Ray), of Kittanning, and Jane Zacharias, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Christopher Loughrey (Maura), of Spring Church, Kevin French (significant other, Chelsea), of Kittanning, and Samantha French (fiancé, Alex), of Kittanning; great-grandson, Wyatt Loughrey; three sisters and one brother.  She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Chuck and Mary Ellen (Skip) Loughrey; two sisters and three brothers.  Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with the funeral service held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.  Pastor Jimmy Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
