Charles Dale Cousins, 63, of Cowansville, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his home. He was born June 2, 1955, in ACMH to the late Charles L. and Goldie A. (Ion) Cousins and lived in the area all of his life. He was a stone maker for Kay Berry for 25 years. He attended Brush Valley Brethren Church. Charles enjoyed watching NASCAR, camping, and watching his favorite television shows on A & E and the History Channel. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Maryalice “Mame” Baker Cousins, of Cowansville; daughter, Goldie Y. (Bucky) Johns, of Adrian; son, Steven D. (Jodie) Cousins, of Cowansville; grandchildren: Isabella, Victor, Abigail, and Levi; great-grandson, Bryar M. Johns, and great-grandson due in September, Bentley C. Johns: siblings, Nora (Robert) Croyle, Clara (Mark) John, Randy Cousins (companion, Joanne), Nelson Cousins, Goldie Atherton, and Alexander Cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ronald S. “Roo” Johns III; sisters: Ida Belle Black, Essie Roush, and Diane McIntire; and brothers: John, Frank, Jess, and George Cousins.
Friends will be received on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, at 832 E. Brady Road in Cowansville. Additional visitation will held on Sunday from 11:30 a.m., until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Sue Foster officiating. Interment will be in Croyle Cemetery, Adrian. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
