Charlotte A. (White) Dill, of Kittanning, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, in Bethany Place, Indiana, Pa. She was born on July 27, 1928, in Pine Township, to the late Joseph and Lillian White. Mrs. Dill was a loving mother and homemaker and also worked at Martin’s Exxon. Mrs. Dill was an active member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Over the years, she was involved with all the church functions and programs, as well as helping with communion setup and baking the communion bread. She enjoyed all the family get-togethers and church gatherings. She also enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and looking at old family pictures and slides. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Dill, of Indiana; son, Duane Dill, of Homer City; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bernard “Bud” Dill, who passed away May 13, 2009, and her sisters, Margaret Moore, Violet Hancock, and Bernice White. Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. Additional viewing will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, in the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, 1433 State Route 28/66, Templeton, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Mateer Cemetery.
