Cody Michael Blake, 20, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 422. He was born June 21, 1989, in Kittanning, a son of Walter Wayne Blake, of Butler, and the late Keitha Lynn (Nulph) Blake. He worked for Rose Bud in the DarMac No. 2 Mine. Cody enjoyed riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, going out on the river and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed hanging out with friends, especially his brothers. Besides his father, he is survived by his brothers, Brandon Blake and his wife, Shanna, of Kittanning, and Adam Blake, of Worthington; a special aunt and uncle, Donald and Deborah Nulph, of Worthington; guardian, Debra Sinclair, of Kittanning; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his many dear friends. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday in the KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning. Interment in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.
