This is a story that my Mom Ruth Cogley found after my sister Connie had died.
All of us kids would agree with Connie. We thank God that Ruth Cogley is our mother.

It's not the size of this quilt that makes it special. It is the love and heart that my mother put into them. She gave them to me and said I could have them for my Christmas present. I promised her that they would be used for a special reason and purpose. I hope that they will always be kept and cherished as a tribute to my mother. She has been my rock over the last couple of years and all of my life. Always there to lend a helping hand. Anyone who knows her knows how special she is not only to her family but to anyone she comes in contact with. She gives her all to everyone she meets and everything she does for them. I thank you God for having the blessing of being born the daughter of a woman like Ruth Cogley.
Enjoy this gift and cherish it as much as I cherish her. Take the love and comfort that has been put into it from my mother's hands. I wish I had more of them but I had to pick special people to give them to.
So to you I give from my heart because you are a special person to me.
LOVE,
CONNIE

Connie and I were true friends and a great coworker at the power plant. She would out shine most of the guys there, and gave 100% all of the time. I will miss her dearly Till we meet again sweet lady!!

RIP Connie We will always remember the good times we had together: Camping in Ridgeway, my boys enjoyed spending time with you for sure. Work parties and functions oh how we laughed. Local taverns chit chatting and reflecting on the good ole days. May you rest in peace now free of pain and suffering. FLY HIGH our good friend until we meet again
