Daniel Robert Dornan, 62, of Kittanning died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017.  He was born July 13, 1954, in Kittanning to the late Robert L. and Ann T. Dornan.  Dan worked as a laborer and attended the Church of Christ.  He enjoyed mixed martial arts and wrestling.  Dan had an interest in bald eagles and he was fascinated with bridges and tall buildings.  He was a lifelong resident of the community.  Survivors include one sister and her husband, Debbie and Tom Swartzlander of Franklin; one brother and his wife, Elmer and Carol Williams of Houston, Texas; one son, Daniel R. Mazzocco of Idaho; one daughter, Jenn Swartzlander of Franklin; one grandson, David Robert Swartzlander of Franklin; one niece, Tabitha Swartzlander of Franklin; and several close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kittanning Church of Christ, 213 Blaney Road in Manor, where there will be one hour of visitation prior to the service, with Evangelist Larry Krause officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
