David Alan Boarts

David Alan Boarts, 52, of Valley Township, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 4, 1966, the son of Dorothy Anne (Clever) Boarts and Donald Ray Boarts.  David liked sports. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and cards from all of the different sports he liked.

He is survived by his parents, of Valley Township; sister, Cheryl Boarts and husband, Billy, of Florida, and brothers, Mark Boarts, at home, and Ray Boarts, of Kittanning; nieces, Robin and Ashley; nephews, John and Brandon; and he had lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Robin, and brother, Michael; and grandparents, Harry and Anna Clever, and June Boarts.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Brady officiating.  Interment will be in Concord Cemetery in Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in David’s honor to the Autism Society, 4340 East-West Highway, Suite 350, Bethesda, Md. 20814.
