Dawn I. (Wiles) Wissinger, 82, of Kittanning, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 12, 1935, in East Brady, to the late Ross A. and Catherine (Forringer) Wiles. Dawn was a homemaker, and she also worked 30 years as a notary, and 14 years as a bus driver. She also owned the 422 Mini Mart and Sun Valley Personal Care Home. She was a member of the Whitesburg United Methodist Church and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Dawn was a hard worker with a soft heart; she loved her computer and dogs. She especially loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Earl W. Wissinger; son, John McElroy of Texas; daughters, Peggy Lloyd of Kittanning and Robin Crownover, also of Kittanning; grandson, Robert (Amy) Lloyd of Kittanning; granddaughter, Lisa Smith, also of Kittanning; great-granddaughters, Jade Smith, Erica Lloyd, and Carlee Lloyd, all of Kittanning; brother, Vern Wiles of East Brady; and sisters, Virginia (Ronald) Delano of Somerset and Genevieve Zellers of East Brady. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Wiles, Jean Murray, Marguerite Heginbotham, Rose Young, Julia Simpson, and Karen Schrecengost; and brother, Walter Wiles. Services will be private and are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
