Dora "Bonnie" Slagle

Dora “Bonnie” Slagle, 85, of Tarrtown died on Friday January 4, 2019 in Premier Armstrong Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Kittanning, Pa on March 29, 1933 to the late James T. & Flora A. (Lemmon) Smith.  Bonnie retired from Armstrong County where she worked in Cleaning and laundry departments. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping and fishing.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Don Slagle and wife Marsha of Kittanning, and Ron Slagle and wife Kim of Ford City; grandchildren, Rob Slagle & fiancé Jamie Snyder of Ford City, Christina Slagle of Kittanning, Dustin Slagle of Ford City, Michael Slagle of Kittanning, and Megan Slagle of Kittanning; and sister, Nancy Lash and husband Jerry of Buffalo, NY.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Slagle on January 2, 1997.

Family & Friends will be received on Monday January 7, 2019 in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11a.m. in the funeral home with one hour of additional viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Mark Brady will officiate. Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, Pa.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Rayburn Twp. Vol, Fire Dept., 102 Watertower Rd. Kittanning, PA 16201
