My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family of Ed (Buster) Roofner. I remember Buster teaching Sunday school class to the older men at Worthington Baptist for many years when I was very young, and know Buster served as usher for many years. We had many good times of worship and fellowship together at Worthington Baptist. Buster was a kind man, and a neighbor who was appreciated by many of us through the years, including my dad, Ron, and mother Betty. Buster is at home with the Lord now, but we will miss his kindness and Godly character. I plan to be at the viewing and funeral tomorrow. With love, prayers and good memories to Buster's family---from Steve Blakney

What a kind and loving man. He had a great sense of humor. A Godly man who always made us feel welcome on the farm. I loved him.

Uncle Buster had such a kind heart! One time we had a bad tire when we were visiting, and he bought us a new tire. Our prayers are with you all at this hard time. Love to all of you.

Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
